Our front ~ notice the speed limit sign.
We live on a 5 lane road and have hedged ourselves off for privacy,
noise reduction and air-quality.

Another view.

Driveway

Side entry. Old wrought iron on wall for flower stems with one old iron flower.

If you turn north you will see our screened porch
which is off the kitchen and the main entry into our cottage.

A closer view of the porch.

Here is a my shed's garden.

Here's a view into our 'secret garden'.

A view from the driveway.

This is in our grotto, which you walk into to get to my shed, on the left.

A closer view of one of the stained glass pieces and blue pea vine flowers.

This is back up front looking south as you came through the side entry.

My main garden.
I took this picture standing on the bench at the north end.

The column with the shell top we found 'curbside shopping' many years ago.
The little boy we bought at a local flea market and I put larger shells around him.
The orange coloring on column is from our well water.

Another view of main garden looking northeast, cottage on the right.

This is the path on the west side of main garden.

This is taken from the northwest corner, looking east.
DH bought me the shell birdbath for my birthday last year.

Another view of column with birdbath beyond. That column was very heavy.
It took three of us to lift it into our friend's truck.

Another view of birdbath with blue plumbago flowers.

I believe this is called a rubber vine.
It was here when we moved onto the property in 1973.
It has a horrible milky sap.

This is 'Blue Girl' a wonderful, sweet smelling rose.

This is the flower of the blue pea vine. Very vibrant. Easy to grow.

This is 'Mystery Gardenia'.
Too bad I can't include the scent here.
This is in a huge terra cotta pot in the secret garden.

I don't know the name of this hibiscus. Have had it for years. Got it from my mother.

Here is 'Maggie' with a palm backdrop.

'Pandora vine'. The flowers are sweet but the foliage smells like garlic.

'Pink Pet' a sweet little rose I've had for many years.
This plant is from a cutting off my first plant of her, in the main garden.
This one is in the shed's garden.

These are 'Pinks'.
DH surprised me with a flat of these a month or so ago.

Mushrooms growing on some melaleuca sections that DH cut up after hurricanes brought down the majority of our tree's limbs.

It 'was' a beautiful tree.

Here is a baby lizard. We have lots of these kind of lizards.
They only get about 4" long.

This grouping is on the left side of kitchen door.

Bought this little sign many years ago.
Be it brick, or wood,
there's no place like home,
where love abides.

The End.
