"Do not spoil what you have
by desiring what you have not;
but remember that what you have now
was once among the things only hoped for."

~Epicurus~

Each year the gardens and flowers are different. Because of age, or growth patterns, or not planted again, we do not have the same things growing year in year out.

Louis Phillipe rose

Mutabilis rose

Old Blush rose

Penelope rose

Golden sun rose

Iris

Dahlburg daisy

Orchids

FlowerLady and Lavender.

'Incense' passion vine flowers.

Tithonia and zebra longwing butterfly.

Cereus night blooming cactus, the morning after. Picture taken by DH from a shed roof.

Queen Crape Myrtle ~ This is a gorgeous tree that I saw around the area and DH got it for our gardens for our anniversary. The flowers are sweetly scented.

Duchesse de Brubant rose, with crotons and firecracker plant.

Crepuscule rose.

Penelope rose.

Hibiscus that we found discarded with several other potted plants out in front of someone's home. They all would have gone out to the landfill.

Louis Phillipe rose.

This tree is made from the dried stem that the nuts were on of a palm tree. The shell bits and pieces were found at the beach. We bought the star fish from a local shell shop.

Our small tree this year as we are remodeling and did not have room for the big one. The ornaments are all handmade, most from an ornament swap I have done for several years with a group of online friends.
